Jorge de la Osa
Senior Vice President — Legal
Wyndham Vacation Ownership

Jorge de la Osa is Senior Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Inc., a proud member of Wyndham Worldwide family of companies. Jorge has been with Wyndham Vacation Ownership since 2010.

Jorge’s team oversees the legal support functions related to development, regulatory affairs/ registration and consumer finance services. The team also oversees legal services related to regimes and resort management.

Before joining Wyndham, he was the Corporate Legal Counsel for Sol Meliá Vacation Club, where he oversaw all legal activities. Jorge helped develop the Sol Meliá Vacation Club from concept to reality – establishing a broad footprint in Central America, the Caribbean and Europe. Before joining Sol Meliá, Jorge was Corporate Counsel with timeshare developer Tempus Resorts International.

Jorge began his legal career as a Real Estate associate at the law firm of Baker & Hostetler LLP in Orlando, Florida, where he specialized in the area of hospitality, resort development and timeshare law (resort condominiums, vacation ownership, exchange and travel industry), participated in the structuring and development of vacation ownership projects and participated in the drafting of legislation related to the hospitality industry. Jorge counseled various developers and management companies in the vacation ownership industry such as Hyatt, Disney and Starwood.

Jorge serves on the boards of ¡Fuerte!, WVO’s Hispanic/Latino associate business group, the WVO Diversity Council, and has been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida.
