Vanessa Henley is the newly appointed Sr. Diversity Officer for the Western Division of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. In this role, she will be responsible for driving and implementing diversity initiatives across the division. Prior to this role, Vanessa was the Sr. HR Coverage Partner for the Southern Division for approximately seven years. Vanessa was previously employed with SunTrust Bank as the Regional HR Manager for the Tampa Bay market. Additionally, she was employed with Citigroup in New York City where she supported the Asset Management Division in a number of HR roles across North America.
Vanessa holds a B.S. degree from Auburn University and a M.S. in Human Resources from Troy State University.
Vanessa is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, where she serves on the International HR committee. Additionally, she is actively involved in the following organizations: National Association of African Americans in HR (NAAAHR), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a member of Obsidian Venture Group.
Vanessa resides in Atlanta, GA with husband Greg.
