Vicky Garcia
COO and Co-owner
Cruise Planners

Many would say Vicky Garcia was born with Cruisitude™.

Among the most respected women in travel, Garcia learned the industry ground up from her beginnings as a reservation sales agent at Royal Caribbean International to today, co-owner and Chief Operating Officer at Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative.

Garcia oversees the overall strategic and operational responsibility for all business development and marketing programs including third-party partnerships that have become an extension of the company's in-house offerings for Cruise Planners franchise owners.

Prior to being named COO and investing as a partner in the company, Garcia served as executive vice president of sales & marketing, senior vice president and director of group operations and support since joining Cruise Planners in 2004.

A travel professional since 1988 Garcia’s successes and contagious spirit has earned her leadership positions and honors across the industry.

Despite her demanding career, Garcia is an advocate and volunteer for many causes close to her heart. Most notably, in 2012 she was named The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Women of the Year, Ft. Lauderdale after raising an unprecedented $115,000 to support lifesaving blood cancer research and services. In addition, Garcia has supported and raised funds for causes and organizations including: Susan G Komen, Kids In Distress, Fisher House Foundation, Wyland Foundation and Angel Notion and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's South Florida Chapter.

When Garcia is not with her CP family, she’s a “foodie” that also enjoys high-tech gadgets & automation, and living in the moment with family and friends.
