Alexander Hernandez is a Financial Advisor with SunTrust Investment Services, Inc. He offers clients more than 17 years of financial services, retirement planning and investment management experience. Alexander has earned the professional designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFATM). He is a native of Gainesville, Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida. Alex serves on the Orange County Board of Children and Families and is an active member in the Central Florida YMCA. In his spare time, Alexander enjoys triathlons, volunteering and spending time with his family. He and his wife Deann have five children.
Alexander's focus is advising on the development and implementation of investment strategies to help clients meet their immediate and future goals. He follows a disciplined process of assessing a client's financial situation, determining risk tolerance, forming and executing an appropriate investment plan and regular portfolio rebalancing in order to obtain measurable results. He also consults on risk management, retirement planning and other critical financial strategies.
