Dierdre White
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Grow Financial Federal Credit Union

Dierdre White is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Grow Financial Federal Credit Union in Tampa, Florida where her practice focuses on banking, regulatory compliance, governance, and general corporate law. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dierdre worked as Tax Attorney for United Airlines, Inc. before serving as Associate General Counsel of Alliant Credit Union (formerly United Airlines Employees’ Credit Union), where she established its first Office of Legal & Compliance. Dierdre then took an opportunity to contribute to a personal mission/cause by serving as the first General Counsel for the national office of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Currently, Dierdre serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of PACE Center for Girls- Hillsborough, is a 2015 Lapel Pin recipient for pro bono time and services donated through the Community Law Program- St. Petersburg, is a member of Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and continues to mentor two remarkable young ladies from the USF College of Business.

In March, Dierdre was named as the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Overall Top Corporate Counsel in the Tampa Bay area and Top Corporate Counsel in Financial Services. She is also a proud member of the Leadership Tampa class of 2016.

Dierdre is a graduate of the University of Washington (BA), Chicago-Kent College of Law (JD), and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (MBA). Dierdre is also a Credit Union Compliance Expert as designated by the Credit Union National Association.
