Tony Sandonato
Senior Director, L&D for Sales & Marketing and Strategy & Integration
Wyndham Vacation Ownership

Tony Sandonato leads Learning & Development for Sales & Marketing and Strategy & Integration at WVO and reports to Kim Marshall, SVP of HR.

Tony joined WVO ten years ago where he managed the training function for the former contact center in Fort Lauderdale for 6 years. During that time he developed and managed the HiPo contact center Supervisor development program and Leadership Summit strategy. In 2010 he relocated to Orlando to take on the role of Director of L&D for Owner Services supporting the Redmond, WA; Springfield, MO; and Orlando contact centers. Most recently, Tony led L&D for WVO’s Hospitality division where he expanded the leadership bench program to include Resort Operations and partnered on the implementation of the College Leadership Development Program. Before joining Wyndham Vacation Ownership, he served as the AVP, Director of Training for Union Bank of Florida. He also spent 7 years with Burdines Department Stores of Florida (a.k.a. Macy’s) as Manager of Executive Skills Development in Miami, FL.

Tony received his Bachelors of Science in Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, has earned several adult learning industry certifications with DDI®, Global Lead®, Omega Performance, Emergenetics®, Stephen Covey, and Practical Management Inc. Most recently completed his SPHR® re-certification in 2016.

Tony lives in downtown Orlando with his husband, Tracer Foster. His hobbies include running, weight training and community engagement. He sits on the Orlando Steering Committee for the Human Rights Campaign.
