Trish Brennan
Vice President, Human Resources
Adrienne Arsht Center

Trish Brennan is Vice President of Human Resources at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. With the Arsht Center since 2005, she is responsible for all human resource functions. Her areas of responsibility include, recruitment and staffing, compensation, learning and development, employee relations and leadership development.

Since coming to the Arsht Center Brennan has successfully created department goals and practices to be in alignment with the strategic business goals and objectives of the enterprise. She has been instrumental in leading Human Resources to be a strategic business partner. As a result of this partnership, Brennan has directed the Center through organizational growth, change and now sustainability.

Brennan has over 20 years of experience in not-for-profit human resource management. Prior to her move to Miami she served as Deputy Director for the American Federation of Arts. There she was responsible for leading and directing the organization’s operations, information technology, administration, membership and human resources programs and was instrumental in reviving the New York Cultural Human Resources Group. Prior to the American Federation of Arts, she worked with the Coalition for the Homeless in New York.

Brennan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Montana. She also is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management. In addition to leading Human Resources Brennan oversees Volunteer Services.
