Alina Shaffer is the Vice President, Talent Acquisition with livingHR, a human capital and talent experience consulting and recruiting firm based in Tampa, FL. Alina is responsible for directing, managing and ensuring the success of livingHR’s external recruitment programs for executive search and direct placement for clients across the U.S. Alina also leads the firms external consulting activities related to talent acquisition and talent technology in areas such as candidate experience, employment branding, talent acquisition technology and diversity and inclusion.

Prior to joining livingHR, Alina served as VP, Global Talent Acquisition at Catalina in St. Petersburg, FL where she was responsible for designing and implementing recruitment strategies and processes that enabled Catalina to attract top talent. Prior to her role at Catalina, Alina held progressively responsible positions in talent acquisition and HR management with Harris Corporation.

Alina holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University. She has also completed the HR Executive Education Leadership program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Over her career, Alina has been involved with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Currently, Alina serves as a committee member for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Fashion Funds the Cure Tampa Bay event.
