Annette R. O’Malley is Director of Technology at Nielsen, the largest global media research company. She has worked for the company for 12 years first in New York, and now Florida. Prior to her career at Nielsen, Annette established herself within the non-profit sector as a Director of Fund Development for various organizations including United Way in Washington, DC and City Year, an AmeriCorps program, in New York City.
As a community activist, Annette leads Women in Nielsen, an employee resource group for women's empowerment; serves as a board member for PACE Center for Girls; created an annual STEM Saturday event for Girl Scouts of West Central Florida; is a Meals on Wheels driver; and co-chaired the annual Florida Diversity Council’s Women in Leadership Symposium 2014-2016. Recently, Annette had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer at non-profits in southern India.
She is a book aficionado, with an 1100-volume collection and is a published writer - short stories and newspaper articles. Annette and her husband, Ryan, live in Tampa, where they enjoy a shared passion for attending sports events. As an avid traveler, Annette has driven cross-country solo, and toured parts of Europe, extensively.
