Cristina (“Cristy”) A. Gallo-Aquino is the Vice President & CFO of Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) for Ryder System, Inc., a FORTUNE 500® commercial fleet management and supply chain solutions company. In this position, she is responsible for providing financial support and partnership to Ryder’s FMS organization. Prior to being named to her current position in 2015, Ms. Gallo-Aquino served as Vice President, Controller & Chief Accounting Officer for Ryder.
Ms. Gallo-Aquino joined Ryder in 2004 as Director of Technical Accounting and since then, held a number of positions with increasing responsibility, including Assistant Controller, where she was responsible for leading Ryder’s corporate accounting, benefits accounting, and payroll accounting departments. Before joining Ryder, she was Senior Manager of Technical Accounting at LNR Property Corporation. She began her accounting career in KPMG’s audit practice, where she spent seven years supporting a number of corporate accounts, including Ryder.
Ms. Gallo-Aquino is a member of Ryder’s Women’s Leadership Forum. In 2011, she was named a “Woman Worth Watching” in Profiles in Diversity Journal and a “Top 40 Under 40 Finance Professional” in Treasury & Risk magazine. Ms. Gallo-Aquino is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Active in her community, she sits on the Board of Directors of the Easter Seals of South Florida.
Ms. Gallo-Aquino is a Florida Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (cum Laude) from Florida International University.
